Hello, and thanks so much for stopping in! My name is Liz, a relatively average pet-obsessed-mother-pupper who started a blog about parenting my fur children.
I am the person sitting on the floor, right beside my two pups, frantically trying to clot one of their nails of which I cut too short. I’m covered in cornstarch, blood and puppy slobber. I’d say this is an odd occurrence in my daily routine, but that’s only true for the nail clipping. I hate clipping nails… mainly for this reason. The slobber and pet fur however are a standard accessory to my look.
The honest truth is I love pets, and I’m kind of sick of never having a community of like-minded people to vent, brag and share humiliating stories of my furry babes to. It seems that everything surrounding the pet world is scaled to be uber tacky or way too serious. I am not a trainer, groomer or vet. I’m just an average pet parent trying to cope with the daily tasks of taking care of my home zoo.
My goal is to journal my struggles of raising my fifth puppy alongside the rest of the animals that make up this suburban farm, share with you both the struggles and the joys of pet parenting and offer a judgement-free space to join together.
